Founded from a real need to improve medication adherence
SAM was created from a deeply personal need to help aging parents manage their medications safely. While independent and not yet in need of assisted living, they struggled to take medications as prescribed, putting their health at risk.
After searching for a reliable solution, the founders discovered there was no dependable, easy-to-use automatic pill dispenser designed to support seniors and improve medication adherence at home.
With engineering backgrounds and extensive product development experience, the founders understood both the real-world challenges seniors face and the technical requirements needed to solve them. They assembled a team of engineers, pharmacy experts, and healthcare professionals to create a better solution.
The result is SAM, a smart automatic medication dispenser designed to help seniors take medications on time, improve adherence, reduce healthcare risks, and support independent living.
